Meet our Newest Board Member!

We're happy to share that longtime Spitfire Mentor Meghan Czaikoski has joined our board! Not only that, Meg has also stepped into a leadership role as Spitfire's new Board Secretary.

Meg’s connection to Spitfire began as a mentor where she skillfully helps our girls feel confident, supported, and engaged as readers and as people. Her volunteerism as a mentor informs her role on the board, grounding decisions in what she sees and learns through mentoring and helping keep Spitfire’s work closely connected to its programs and the real needs of the girls and families we serve.

Meg has called Alexandria home for more than a decade and stays closely connected to her local community. Curious about how people and ideas connect, she has built a career bringing unlikely perspectives into the same room. At the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), she convenes global companies and emerging businesses through industry programs and the CES annual conference. A graduate of Alexandria's City Academy, Meg serves on the City of Alexandria’s Economic Opportunities Commission, where she leads the steering committee updating the Community Needs Assessment.
